MAYOR EDWARDS ADDRESSES CONCERNS ABOUT LOCAL GROCERY STORE

Mayor Edwards reaches out to corporate office for details

South Fulton, GA – Mayor Bill Edwards has received several calls from concerned residents asking about the status of the Kroger Grocery Store located at 6055 Old National Highway. Recently, several comments have been made on social media stating that the location will be closing in January 2018.

In an effort to obtain information from Kroger official, Mayor Edwards reached out to Felix Turner, Corporate Affairs Manager Kroger Atlanta.

According to Turner, “I looked into this for you and wanted to let you know there are no plans to close the store at this time, but if that changes, I’ll be sure to pass that information along.”

Mayor Edwards is aware that the presence of grocery stores is vital to all communities, and he is committed to strengthening partnerships and relationships with local businesses both large and small.
